Formula

Each directional panel is rounded up to a complete vertical repeat before panel lengths are added.

Assumptions

  • The repeat is measured accurately.
  • Horizontal offset is reported but not silently added to length.

When a tested commercial pattern gives different cutting dimensions or layout instructions, follow that pattern.

Worked example

  • Four 62 in panels
  • 16 in vertical repeat

Each panel rounds to 64 inches, producing 256 inches before purchase adjustments.
